  We brought my husband in on Thursday because had a deep head laceration from hitting his head in the ocean.The receptionist was inattentive and even though there was blood gushing from the wound amd only 2 people in the waiting area, told us we would have to wait an hour and one half to be seen. Island Inn highly recommended Dr. Blair and I'm sure he's wonderful however his receptionist sent us over 30 minutes away to Wilmington. We ended up finding Potter's Neck Medac in the way where they rushed him back immediately. Medac cleaned up the wound to avoid infection, gave him a tetnus shot and antibiotics, then 17 staples to the head. We had to drive back to Topsail after that. Super disappointed with Dr. Blair's office and probs my will never go back.
